CH 524 The Life, Thought and Impact of Augustine

This course is n intensive look at the personal, pastoral and theological life of Augustine of Hippo, including a study of his thoughts developed on a number of practical and worldview issues, including war, politics, and sex, as well as his impact on the Reformers, particularly Luther and Calvin. It has been noted that after Jesus and Paul, Augustine is the most influential figure in the history of Christianity. Through his writings we will get to know the man and his significant impact on the Church.
