Because New Geneva is fully online, most international students study from their home country — no U.S. visa is required. Already in the U.S. on a visa? Mention it to the Registrar and we'll guide you.

Where have you studied?
List every school you've attended after high school. Unofficial transcripts are fine to get started — you can upload them for our initial review, and request the official copies after you submit. There's no rush.
That's completely fine. New Geneva welcomes mature applicants without a bachelor's degree — the Admissions Committee may simply ask for GRE or Miller Analogies (MAT) scores. If you'd like, name your secondary school below.
Studied outside the U.S.? We gladly accept international credentials. Your transcripts may need an English translation and a credential evaluation (for example, WES or ECE) — we'll walk you through it after you apply.
If you don't yet hold an undergraduate degree, the Admissions Committee may ask for GRE or Miller Analogies (MAT) scores. We'll let you know if that applies to you. Applying for VA education benefits? You can note that in the next step.

Three people who know you
Just give us each person's name and email. We'll send them a short, confidential online form on your behalf — no stamps, no envelopes, no chasing anyone down.
References should not be family members. Each one is kept in strict confidence — you'll be asked to waive access to these letters when you sign, which is standard practice and helps your references speak freely. We won't contact anyone until after you submit.
A few honest questions
We ask every applicant these, in the same spirit of grace we hope to teach. A difficult past does not by itself stand in the way of admission — what matters is honesty. Anything you share is held in confidence.
Why we ask: because seminary prepares people for ministry, chaplaincy, and supervised placements, we want to know the whole person — with grace, never suspicion.
What We Believe
Every applicant affirms this statement — a concise summary of the essential, historic truths of the Christian faith. It is the doctrinal foundation we hold in common. Please read it carefully and confirm your agreement below.
- The Bible is the Word of God, the only infallible and inerrant rule of faith and practice.
- There is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- Our Lord Jesus Christ is God and man in one person. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and vicariously atoned for sin through His shed blood and death. He was bodily resurrected from the dead. He ascended to the right hand of God the Father and will personally return in power and glory.
- Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for the salvation of lost and sinful man.
- God justifies the sinner on the basis of Christ's righteousness alone, which is imputed to him by grace alone and received by faith alone.
- Eternal life is received by faith; that is, trusting in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.
- The Holy Spirit indwells all true believers and enables them to live godly lives.
- Both the saved and the lost will be resurrected from the dead; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
- There is spiritual unity of all true believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
New Geneva stands in the historic Reformed tradition, affirming the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms.
