Welcome To New Geneva

History

NGTS began in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in 1993, rooted in the Reformed tradition and committed to the Westminster Standards. The seminary’s focus is now exclusively international and online, reflecting a strategic shift from our local origins to a global mission. Key to this outreach is our partnership in Egypt, providing rigorous theological education to train pastors and leaders, equipping them to revitalize churches worldwide.

Mission And Beliefs

New Geneva Theological Seminary's mission is to glorify God by equipping local church leaders, equipping pastors and laity for a lifetime of ministry, to fulfill the Great Commission. We strategically focus on providing a reformed theological education that is accessible, rigorous, and practical, particularly to those in resource-poor regions.

We are committed to the inerrancy and supreme authority of the Bible and affirm the historic doctrines contained in the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms. We believe that sound doctrine must lead to sound practice—the multiplication and revitalization of churches worldwide. Our current model is exclusively international and online, dedicated to raising up men who faithfully proclaim the Gospel and serve Christ's kingdom.

Academic Excellence

New Geneva Theological Seminary is committed to providing rigorous academic training rooted in the historic Reformed tradition. Our curriculum is designed to equip leaders with the theological foundation necessary for sustained, faithful ministry.

We currently offer four primary graduate degrees: the Master of Divinity (M.Div.), the Master of Arts in Christian Thought (M.A.C.T.), the Master of Arts in Biblical Studies (M.A.B.S.), and the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.). These programs feature a demanding course load categorized into three essential areas: Biblical Studies, emphasizing language, exegesis, and biblical theology; Systematic and Historical Theology, covering doctrine, church history, and the Westminster Standards; and Practical Theology, focusing on preaching, apologetics, missions, and pastoral ministry. Our integrated approach ensures that graduates are ready to lead and teach with competence and conviction. New Geneva International Theological Seminary has a long history of academic excellence, and has alumni serving in multiple denominations and institutions throughout the US.

New Geneva is an affiliate member of ARTS (Association Of Reformed Theological Seminaries).
