Dr. McCurry spent his early adult years on the mission field in Pakistan and in efforts to reach Muslims for Christ. He is the founder and former director of the Zwemer Institute of Muslim Studies. Dr. McCurry taught in the School of World Missions of Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA, for seven years, and then became the founding president of Ministries to Muslims in Colorado Springs, CO. Dr. McCurry presently spends most of his time teaching in seminaries and training programs in the United States and overseas. He is the author or editor of numerous publications, many written or translated in foreign languages. He has also served as Director of the North American Lausanne Consultation on Muslim Evangelism and for four years as Executive Director of the Ibero-American Institute of Transcultural Studies in Granada, Spain.
