Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 5, 2026 · Applies to www.newgeneva.org
1. Introduction
New Geneva Theological Seminary ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you visit our website (www.newgeneva.org).
2. Information We Collect
Personal Information: We collect information you provide directly — for example, your name, email address, and (where relevant) phone number, city and state, and church — when you request our welcome packet, sign up to audit or take a course, submit an admissions application, make a donation, or contact us. An admissions application additionally collects the details you enter on the form, such as your educational history, references, and personal testimony.
Usage Data: Our analytics tools may collect technical data, including IP address, browser type, and pages visited, to improve site performance.
Cookies: Our hosting platform (Wix) and Google Analytics use cookies to enhance your experience and analyze traffic.
3. Advertising & Cookies
We use Google Ad Grants to provide search advertisements. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other sites. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.
We also use the Meta Pixel so that we can tell whether our advertising on Facebook and Instagram reaches people who are genuinely interested in the seminary. When you visit this site, the pixel may send Meta technical information such as the pages you view and the actions you take. It does not send the personal details you type into our forms, and it does not run on our online application or on our pastoral-care topic pages. You may control how Meta uses this information at Meta Ad Preferences.
We do not load the Meta Pixel at all for visitors in regions whose laws require prior consent for such technologies — including the European Union and wider European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and South Africa — and we honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as a request not to be tracked.
4. How We Share Information & Service Providers
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the trusted service providers that operate our website and programs, and only as needed to deliver what you requested (or where required by law). Except for the advertising platforms described in Section 3 — Google and Meta, which also process data under their own privacy policies — each provider may use your information solely to provide its service to us, not for its own purposes:
Wix — website hosting and infrastructure.
Google Analytics & Google Ads (Ad Grants) — website analytics and search advertising.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — social media advertising and measurement.
Populi — our student information system, which stores admissions and enrollment records.
Mailchimp — newsletters and the admissions or donor emails you have opted into.
Mailchimp Transactional (Mandrill) — service emails such as confirmations and requested materials.
GiveButter, with Stripe for payment processing — donation processing and receipts. Your payment-card details are handled by these processors; we do not store your card number.
5. Your Rights
You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us at connect@newgeneva.org. You may also unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message.
