Terms of Service
Last updated: August 24, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing the New Geneva Theological Seminary website (www.newgeneva.org), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The site and the Seminary's programs are intended for adults; minors may use them only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
2. Use License
Permission is granted to access the educational materials and community features on this site for personal, non-commercial, and theological study purposes. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title.
3. User Conduct
As a community, we expect all participants to engage with charity and integrity. You agree not to use the site to post unlawful, harassing, or defamatory content. We reserve the right to terminate access for conduct that violates these standards. These standards apply to New Geneva's online classrooms and community spaces as well as to the website itself.
4. Disclaimer
The materials on this website are provided on an "as is" basis. New Geneva Theological Seminary makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Classes and materials are delivered in part through third-party services, such as Zoom, which are governed by their own terms.
5. Limitations
In no event shall New Geneva Theological Seminary or its suppliers be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on this website.
6. Governing Law
Any claim relating to this website shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
7. Course Auditing
Auditing a course is a privilege extended at the Seminary's invitation, not an enrollment; auditors attend as guests, receive no academic credit, and accrue no academic record. New Geneva may limit, suspend, or withdraw auditing privileges at its sole discretion — including, without limitation, for conduct that disrupts a class, harasses any participant, or misuses class links or recordings. Class access links and recordings are provided for the registered auditor personally and may not be shared or rebroadcast. Class sessions are recorded, and participation constitutes consent to appear in recordings made available to the class. If the Seminary withdraws an auditor's access, any audit fee paid for the current course will be refunded.
8. Communications
When you provide your contact information — to request materials, sign up for a course, or apply — you agree that New Geneva may contact you about your enquiry, your courses, and the life of the Seminary. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor it.
9. Fees, Donations, and Credit
Tuition and fees are as published on this website; refunds for credit enrollment follow the refund schedule on the Tuition page, and audit fees are addressed in Section 7. Donations to New Geneva are charitable contributions to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and are not payment for goods or services. New Geneva Theological Seminary is an affiliate member of ARTS, the Association of Reformed Theological Seminaries, and is authorized by the Colorado Department of Higher Education under the Degree Authorization Act as a religious institution. As at any institution, acceptance of transfer credit is always at the discretion of the receiving institution.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time; the current version is always posted on this page with its date. Continued use of the site or participation in the Seminary's programs after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Technology and Content
Certain components of this website have been prepared with the help of artificial intelligence tools, under the Seminary's administrative and editorial oversight.
12. Notice of Nondiscriminatory Policy as to Students
New Geneva Theological Seminary admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the seminary. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and other seminary-administered programs.
13. Scripture Quotations
Unless otherwise noted, Scripture quotations on this website are from the New King James Version®. Copyright © 1982 by Thomas Nelson. Used by permission. All rights reserved.
