Master of Theology

The Master of Theology is a program designed for students already possessing a Master of Divinity degree. It is designed to give them further opportunity to develop their ability to study the Bible and to gain a deeper and broader comprehension of the Scriptures, to encourage them to further develop their exegetical skills and academic competency, to prepare those desiring to pursue a vocation in teaching, and to train those aspiring to doctoral studies to develop their study habits, research skills, and writing ability, and to test their calling to advanced graduate studies. The program requires the completion of a directed study seminar in each of five subject areas (15 units) and the writing of a thesis (15 units).
