Dominic Aquila, D.Min.

Dr. Aquila has over thirty years of pastoral experience, most recently serving for twelve years as senior pastor of Kendall Presbyterian Church in Miami, FL. He is an editor of the web magazine of the Presbyterian Church in America and, in 2006, served as Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in America General Assembly. He has served as a seminary professor at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Miami, FL, and Knox Theological Seminary in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He has served as a Dean of Students and Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program at a number of seminaries. Dr. Aquila has served on numerous boards for Christian schools, a college, a jail ministry, pro-life ministries, and home missions, and is a prominent leader in the PCA. He is a person of wisdom and great knowledge in biblical, theological and church related subjects.
Mark House, Ph.D.

Before coming to New Geneva, Dr. House served as the academic editor for New Testament and Greek books for Hendrickson Publishers in Peabody, MA (a subsidiary of Christianbook.com), where he edited the Compact Greek-English Lexicon and the Analytical Lexicon of New Testament Greek. Dr. House has previously taught at Talbot School of Theology in La Mirada, CA, Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA, and Zaporozhye Bible College in Zaporozhye, Ukraine, and has a 25-year history of pastoral experience, having served two pastorates in the Presbyterian Church in America in Southern California. Dr. House also serves in as an Adjunct Greek and Exegesis Professor at Reformed Theological Seminary’s Global Campus.
Richard M. Wolfe, D.Min.

Dr. Wolfe has been with Mission to the World (MTW) since 1992—first in the Philippines and now as the Regional Director for Central America and the Caribbean. Previously he had served at Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, PA and Village Seven Presbyterian Church, Colorado Springs, CO, before joining MTW. Dr. Wolfe’s calling and ministry is to develop leaders through teaching and mentoring. He has written The Personal Development Guide as well as other leadership training materials and teaches on mentoring for MTW.
Matt Holst
Visiting Professor of Old Testament

Matt Holst is a Teaching Elder in the PCA and served as Pastor of High Plains Fellowship (PCA) from 2014-2022. Matt has also taught at Evangelical Christian Academy in Colorado Springs, CO, for 22 years and will be returning there in the Fall to take a new position as College & Career Counselor. Besides teaching numerous High School Bible, History and Literature courses, Matt has also taught Apologetics at Sangre de Cristo Seminary in Westcliffe, CO. Matt is married to Shaunna and has 4 amazing children.
Paul Engle, D.Min.

Christopher Sterling, Ph.D.

Dr. Sterling is a retired Army chaplain who planted and served as pastor of Westminster Fellowship (now High Plains Fellowship [PCA]), Falcon, CO, from 2008-2013. He has also served as an interim pastor for churches in the Rocky Mountain Presbytery of the PCA and currently serves on the Presbytery’s Credentials committee.
Fritz Harms, Ph.D.
Visiting Professor of Theology
M.Div., Westminster Seminary in California; Ph.D., Theological University of Apeldoorn in the Netherlands
Dr. Harms is a minister of the United Reformed Church and has pastored churches in South Dakota and Vermont. He has wide missionary experience, having done short-term mission trips to Belgium, Mexico, and Costa Rica and has taught courses overseas in Lithuania, Latvia, Romania, and India. He holds the Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Seminary in California and the Doctor of Philosophy in Church History from the Theological University of Apeldoorn in the Netherlands.
John Leaf, D.Min.

Dr. Leaf is a Ruling Elder in the Presbyterian Church in America with 35 years of teaching experience in Colorado public schools, where he received awards for his development of creative new art programs. John’s doctoral dissertation topic was on “Leaky Faucet Parenting,” and he recently taught a course on “The Goodness and Truth of Beauty” for New Geneva International Seminary in Egypt. John and his wife of 36 years, Ana, have three children and three grandchildren. Dr. Leaf promises a robust, humorous, and engaging teaching style that will inspire students.
Steven Todd, D.Miss.

During the past 40 years, Dr. Todd has served as a local church pastor, community leader, mission organization executive, university and graduate seminary professor, and extension campus director of a University. He is a teacher and communicator with a passion for helping others develop and realize their potential, with a particular heart for empowering and equipping leaders in the developing world.
J. R. Dickens
Visiting Professor of Apologetics
Ph.D.
Dr. Dickens is a member of the PCA and has a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering. He has taught extensively from the book of Genesis (2009-2012), including a series of lectures on Genesis doctrines (2021) and a lengthy series on Creation apologetics (2006). He has also taught a forty-part series on the Westminster Confession of Faith and recently taught a course for New Geneva on the Apologetics of Francis Schaeffer. Dr. Dickens has served as the seminary librarian since August 2021 and has enjoyed the challenge of reorganizing and updating the collection to make it the best resource for Reformed teaching in Colorado Springs. His publications include Coffee Talk (2019-2020) and Theses for Recovering Ecclesiastical Authority: A Sober Warning to the American Church (2021).

Rev. Sean Whitenack
Visiting Professor
Sean Whitenack is a graduate of New Geneva Theological Seminary and is currently working on his Doctor of Ministry at Westminster Theological Seminary. For the past ten years he has served as Associate Pastor of New Life in Christ Church in Fredericksburg, VA. Before his calling to ministry, he worked as a Senior Systems Engineer with Lockheed Martin for 8 years. A native of Colorado for over 30 years, he became a Christian while a college and served as a missionary in East Asia for a season. His passion for Christians to live in the power of their new life in Christ has given him the opportunity to speak at a number of retreats for young adults and men as well as serve as a lecturer with New Geneva Theological Seminary. He and his wife Julie have been married since 1996 and have 4 children.
