If you are an ordained minister or experienced pastoral leader looking to deepen your theological and ministerial competencies without leaving your current post, the D.Min is designed for you. The D.Min. is 30 credit hours, designed to be completed in about three years.
Admission to the D.Min requires a completed M.Div. or its equivalent professional graduate theological degree, presented as a minimum of 82 graduate hours including one year of a biblical language, together with three years of active ministry experience. Yes. The D.Min is built for pastors already in ministry, and your current ministry context serves as the primary laboratory for the degree work — you pursue doctoral-level study without leaving your post.
