New Geneva was founded on the conviction that financial barriers should not keep those whom God has called from rigorous training. Tuition is structured so that you can graduate without debt — whether or not a church or denomination is helping with the cost.
New Geneva endeavors to minimize the cost of seminary training for all who enroll. Students are encouraged to pursue support from their local congregations. For those with documented remaining need, the seminary offers the following institutional avenues:
Tuition is due by the Friday prior to the start of classes. In cases of financial hardship, a deferred payment arrangement may be approved by the Business Office. This requires a minimum payment of 25% at registration, with the remaining balance split across three monthly installments due on the 5th of each subsequent month. A non-refundable $10.00 fee applies per term, and past due accounts carry a 1% monthly finance charge.
Students dropping individual courses or withdrawing from the seminary receive tuition adjustments according to the following matrix (minus the non-refundable $15.00 drop fee):
Note for Modular/Intensive Courses: 100% refund after Day 1; 60% refund after Day 2; no refund is available after the third day of attendance. All modular refunds are subject to the standard $15.00 drop fee.
New Geneva's Master's-level programs - including the M.Div., Th.M., MACM, and Certificate in Biblical Studies - are offered at $300 per credit hour. The Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) is also $300 per credit hour. A senior discount of $265 per credit hour is available for students aged 55 and older.
Yes. Many New Geneva courses may be audited. Auditing lets pastors, elders, deacons, and other believers benefit from rigorous Reformed instruction without the demands of exams, papers, or degree tracking. No degree requirements apply to auditors; please contact the registrar for current audit details.
New Geneva charges a one-time application fee of $25, a late registration fee of $25, a semester administrative fee of $25, and a course drop fee of $15. The D.Min. program also carries an admin continuation fee of $25 per semester.
New Geneva's primary form of financial assistance is its low tuition structure - $300 per credit hour, intentionally set to allow students to graduate without debt. Institutional scholarships are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, prioritizing students with demonstrable financial need or unique ministry contexts. Financial assistance is available to both domestic and international students.
New Geneva's M.Div. requires 100 credit hours at $300 per credit hour, making the total standard tuition $30,000. This is significantly lower than most residential seminary programs and is designed so students can complete the degree without incurring significant debt.
